Tight space?

The trend towards miniaturisation continues in automation technology, as installation space is very limited in many industrial sectors and therefore precious. With a width of just 60 mm, the FSG 60 area gripper is particularly suitable for use in confined spaces.
The narrow series opens up application possibilities wherever working areas are particularly confined, e.g., in the automated handling of narrow glasses, individual wooden parts, or in intralogistics.

However, there are no compromises in terms of performance. Despite its narrow width, the FSG 60 area gripper, like all other area grippers in the product family, is capable of automated handling of individual products or product layers without changing grippers. Sensitive goods made of different materials and with different geometries, surfaces and dimensions, such as panes, glass and window elements, can be handled gently with just one gripper. Workpieces are picked up reliably even if the exact position of the workpiece to be gripped is not clearly defined. Even dust-intensive processes pose no problem.

Available in two versions

The version with sealing foam is suitable for handling inherently stable products such as wood or glass. The gripper impresses with its long service life and high reliability and enables the sealing foam to be replaced quickly and without leaving any residue.

The version with plug-in cups is ideal for moving flexible packaging, such as cardboard boxes. The cups are available in two different hardnesses. They are FDA-compliant and can be replaced quickly and easily. With check valves or flow resistors, the cup can be optimally adapted to the geometry of the workpiece to be moved.
Low noise emissions thanks to internal ejectors and an integrated silencer ensure a pleasant working environment. Versions with connection to a central vacuum supply are available as an alternative.

Comprehensive range of area grippers

The wide range includes universal area gripping systems in various dimensions with 20 mm or 40 mm plug-in cups, versions with sealing foam, versions with internal valves or flow resistors as well as customized versions. The area grippers in the FSG series therefore offer a flexible and economical solution for almost any handling task.
