Area gripper FSG 60 - when installation space is tight

Our new FSG 60 area gripper is not only suitable for pick and place of slim workpieces in assembly and packaging processes, but also for general handling in intralogistics, wood, metal and glass processing.
Two variants are therefore available for use in different environments.

Lack of space - Limited installation space is not a new challenge for many industrial sectors in automation technology. Our new FSG 60 area gripper, with a width of just 60 mm, is ideal for use in confined spaces.
If working areas are particularly tight - such as the automated handling of narrow glass jars, individual wooden parts or in intralogistics - the new area gripper scores highly.

Powerful - but there are no compromises in performance. Despite its narrow width, the narrow FSG 60 area gripper is capable of automated handling of individual products or product layers without changing grippers. Sensitive goods made of different materials and with different geometries, surfaces and dimensions, such as panes, glass and window elements, can be handled gently with just one gripper. Workpieces are picked up reliably even if the exact position of the workpiece to be gripped is not clearly defined. Even dust-intensive processes pose no problem.

Full-range supplier - The FSG 60 completes our comprehensive range of area grippers. From universal area gripping systems in various dimensions with 20 mm or 40 mm insertion suction cups, to versions with sealing foam or with internal valves or flow resistors. The area grippers in the FSG series therefore offer a flexible and economical solution for almost any handling task.

The version with sealing foam is suitable for handling inherently stable products such as wood or glass. The gripper impresses with its long service life and high reliability and enables the sealing foam to be replaced quickly and without leaving any residue.

The version with push-in suction cups is ideal for moving flexible packaging, such as cardboard boxes. The insert suction cups are available in two different hardnesses. They are FDA-compliant and can be replaced quickly and easily. With ball valves or flow resistors, the suction cup can be optimally adapted to the geometry of the workpiece to be moved.

Low noise emissions thanks to internal ejectors and integrated silencers ensure a pleasant working environment. Versions with connection to a central vacuum supply are available as an alternative vacuum supply.
